Privacy notice

This notice explains how data is handled when you use AI-Nikita chat and story-like interactions on this portfolio.

What data is collected

• Messages you send to AI-Nikita.
• AI-Nikita replies generated for your request.
• Technical metadata for each chat record: source and timestamp.
• Story-like interaction records: anonymous visitor id, asset id, like state, source, and timestamp.

How data is used

• To provide chat answers on the website.
• To monitor reliability and reduce abuse.
• To improve assistant quality and service operations.
• To keep story-like counts accurate and allow the same browser to toggle a like on or off.

Processors and storage

• OpenAI API is used to generate chat responses.
• Supabase is used to store chat logs for this website.
• Supabase is also used to store story-like interaction records.

Retention

Chat records are retained for up to 14 months, then deleted. Story-like interaction records may be retained for the lifetime of the feature or until operational cleanup removes them.

Story likes

Story likes use an anonymous per-browser visitor cookie. The cookie is used to recognize the same browser for like toggling only. Incognito sessions and cleared cookies create a new anonymous visitor.
